Valley Park, Missouri was founded late in the 19th century. Since we started out as a park for the St. Louis City residents and have parks as part our name, you can well imagine that parks are important to us. In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, railroads played a big role in this town. The Missouri Pacific and The Frisco were the big lines at that time; now it is Amtrack where 88 trains a day stop in Valley Park. Valley Park has a lot to offer from charming old buildings to streamline businesses. Grocery stores, restaurants, churches and schools provide you with the quaintness of a small community feel where you can both work and live.
